Meador Staffing Clear Lake is Hiring a Chemical Buyer (FT) Near Pasadena, TX
This position is a TEMPORARY role, Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM and an hourly rate ranging between $22-24hr.
The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience in purchasing CHEMICALS and raw materials.

The Purchasing Specialist will…
- Issue Purchase Orders and maintain records of all purchases, receipts, and communications with suppliers.
- Ensure that materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner to optimize production.
- Negotiate and settle damage claims, losses, and return of materials.
- Schedule and handle transactions needed to maintain efficient inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stocking.
- Participate in end-of-month processing and physical inventories.
- Other duties as assigned.

- 2 years of Chemical purchasing experience; REQUIRED
